1. The modification of the air filtration system is to switch to a high-flow air filter. Replacing the high-flow air filter can reduce the resistance of the economic engine's intake through the filter element, while increasing the intake volume and volumetric efficiency during the operation of the learning engine. The increase in intake volume measured by the air flow meter in the fuel supply safety system sends a signal to the fuel supply and the computer (ECU), which will automatically control a fuel injector to spray more gasoline to match it, allowing more fuel vapor (not denser) to enter the problematic cylinder, achieving the goal of increasing horsepower output. If the filter cannot meet your needs, replacing the entire air filter with an exposed filter known as "mushroom head" can further reduce intake volume and increase the engine's lung capacity.

2. Intake Duct Design The modification technology of the intake duct can be divided into two aspects: shape and material analysis. The purpose of changing the shape of the intake port is to accumulate intake pressure (when the valve suddenly opens completely during rapid acceleration) and increase intake flow, but these products usually have special limitations, meaning that A-type vehicles used in B-type vehicles may not perform well. Additionally, changing the material of the intake port to one that does not absorb heat and is lightweight, with carbon fiber being a commonly used material. Its non-heat-absorbing properties can prevent the intake temperature from being affected by the high temperature in the engine compartment, resulting in higher intake density, i.e., an increase in the oxygen content per unit volume, thereby improving the engine's output power, although the downside is the high price. The intake duct is often modified by changing the shape and material of the intake duct for better performance. At the same time, removing the air filter and extending the intake port outside the vehicle, placing it directly at the front of the car, increases intake pressure and volume as the vehicle speed increases.

3. Direct Injection Manifolds require high-speed power performance in racing engines, sacrificing low-speed horsepower output to minimize the intake manifold as much as possible, removing the air filter to fully eliminate intake resistance and achieve excellent high-speed performance. The problem with traditional rear exhaust engines is how to introduce enough fresh air from outside the vehicle after replacing the direct injection intake manifold. The combination of direct injection intake manifold and aerodynamic design carbon fiber intake is a suitable choice for racing cars. Especially after the engine drops, utilizing the space above the engine to install a large intake duct, opening and positioning it close to the front fuel tank cover allows air to effectively reach the rear intake manifold.

4. Secondary Air Intake There are many products on the market that utilize the principles of secondary air intake research, with varying usage in different countries, and they are not cheap. It is called "secondary air intake" because, in addition to the original intake port from the air filter, it introduces a suitable amount of fresh air from another intake device outside the engine's intake manifold vacuum pressure difference through the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) pipeline to improve volumetric efficiency. The significant power enhancement effect of secondary air intake occurs in the early stage (low speed), because when the throttle is fully opened, a large amount of research air can enter the system's vacuum, the amount of air that the secondary air intake device can introduce becomes negligible. In the case of modifying the intake system, it is necessary to consider the coordination with the fuel supply system. If the intake capacity is significantly increased, but the development of the fuel supply system cannot provide enough fuel supply to match it, the goal of increasing horsepower cannot be truly achieved, as the engine requires the correct air-fuel ratio, not just a large amount of air. Additionally, in practice, our country needs to continuously consider noise issues. In the past, when we mentioned noise, people usually only thought of the sound produced by the exhaust pipe, neglecting the noise generated by the intake.
